Carnevale Waterfall – Bastelica, Greater Ajaccio
It is found under different names: Sant’Alberto or Piscia di Carnavalli.
The waterfall can be reached in just 20 minutes on foot. It is 10 meters high and you can find natural pools at its feet.
The starting point of the walk is on the N196, from Ajaccio towards Sartène/Bonifacio. When you arrive in the village of Cauro, take the D27 towards Bastelica. 8km further, near a bridge, a sign indicates the departure towards the waterfall. A parking lot is located on the other side of the road.
